Mad Libs for 2K

I think I shocked Roy today during The Morning Waking Crew by admitting I've never played Mad-Libs. It was very clear I had no idea what I was doing! We were playing 'Swift-Libs,' qualifying listeners for their chance at the final 'win 'em before you can buy 'em' tickets to see Taylor at Gillette in July. The tickets went on sale this morning at 10am. Hopefully, you got your tickets or were one of the lucky few who won them on The Morning Waking Crew.

House set to pass Keystone pipeline bill
The Republican-controlled House is expected today to approve the Keystone XL oil pipeline, and this time, the Senate may follow. The bill marks the ninth attempt by the House to secure approval of the pipeline, which has been repeatedly delayed by environmental reviews, legal challenges and politics. But this week, Senate Democrats dropped their opposition to the pipeline, in hopes that it would help Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu, who's facing a runoff election against Republican Bill Cassidy.

NH Supreme Court refusing to reinstate lawsuit
The state Supreme Court is refusing to reinstate a lawsuit filed by four officers who were injured in a 2012 shootout with a suspected drug dealer who fatally shot Greenland Police Chief Michael Maloney. The officers sued Cullen Mutrie's mother, claiming she should be held liable because she knew or should have known her son was dealing drugs from the house she owned.

One dead in Vermont house fire
Police say one person has been killed in a house fire in the southern Vermont town of Halifax. Police say a tenant of the home was able to escape and run to a neighbor's house to call 911 early yesterday morning. The body of another tenant was found after the fire was extinguished.
