GOP debate on national security
Sens. Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio clashed sharply over national security and immigration in last night's Republican presidential debate in Las Vegas. Front-runner Donald Trump stood firmly behind his provocative call for banning Muslims from entering the United States. The prime-time debate was the first for Republicans since the attacks in Paris and San Bernardino.

Chism found guilty
A Massachusetts teenager has been convicted of raping and killing his high school math teacher. Philip Chism was convicted Tuesday in the 2013 slaying of Colleen Ritzer, a 24-year-old algebra teacher at Danvers High School.

High School graduation rates high in NH
U.S. Education Department statistics show that New Hampshire has one of the best high school graduation rates in the country. New Hampshire's rate for the 2013-2014 school year was 88.1 percent, higher than the national rate at 82 percent.
