MWC Daily: Little Big Town Heads to NH

Our big concert announcement this morning was CMA Vocal Group of the Year, Little Big Town, will be coming to The Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion at Meadowbrook! 

The Morning Waking Crew will have your 'Win 'em before you can buy 'em' tickets all this week for LBT's "Pain Killer" concert stop in Gilford in September(special guest, David Nail).Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am Friday, January 16th. 

Traffic Alert!

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation wants you to know that weather permitting, there will be road work today on I-93 north in Windham,near the 'weigh station' between 10am-2pm.

French security forces are looking for whoever shot the video of one gunman explaining the terror attacks that were about to unfold in Paris.The prime minister says that person is considered a likely accomplice to the three gunmen killed in police raids following the attacks. Meanwhile, France's defense minister says 10,000 security forces are being mobilized to protect sensitive locations.

Burst pipe floods town offices in Gilmanton
The town offices in Gilmanton are closed after a pipe burst in the building, causing a section of a ceiling in the auditorium to collapse under the weight of the water. Firefighters were called to the building around 10 p.m. Sunday. They said a sprinkler pipe broke in the attic and caused the flooding. It's not known how long the offices will be closed.

Auburn armed standoff ends peacefully
An armed standoff in Auburn has ended peacefully with one man facing charges.
Police say they responded to a 911 call from an 83-year-old man at about 11:15 a.m. Sunday. Officers found that the man was armed and threatening suicide with his wife in the house.The man was convinced to come out of the house peacefully at about 3 p.m. Because a gun was involved, several nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution. Bruno's wife was unharmed.
