Anti-gay marriage clerk going back to work
A rural county clerk's office in Kentucky is a focus of attention today as Kim Davis goes back to work for the first time since a judge jailed her for refusing to grant marriage licenses to same-sex couples. The Rowan County clerk believes gay marriage is a sin and stopped issuing marriage licenses following a U.S. Supreme Court ruling that effectively legalized same-sex unions

Pipeline public hearings set for this week
A company proposing a natural gas pipeline that would run through New Hampshire is holding more public meetings this week in the state to discuss the project. Kinder Morgan officials have made dozens of presentations and held half a dozen open houses in communities that would be affected by the project, which is designed to bring gas from shale fields in Pennsylvania and New York.

Drug 'czar' to visit New Hampshire
The nation's drug "czar" is visiting New Hampshire today for a roundtable on the state's heroin and opioid crisis and a walking tour of Manchester with its police chief and city officials. Michael Botticelli has been director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy since February.
