It's a rite of spring every year, and the perfect birthday present whether you're a child or an adult.  It brings us joy with the wind at our back and a big smile on our faces.

We are talking about bicycles.  Yes, bikes.

The annual Dover Bike Swap is back this year, and now's your chance to trade in your set of two wheels.

The biggest excitement is from the kids who beg for mom and dad to get them a bigger bike due to their growth spurt over the past year, or even a mom who's decided she wants a beach bike with a nice wide seat instead of her sport model bicycle.

The bike swap is happening once again at Philbrick's Ski, Board, and Bike, on Saturday, April 9th from 10am-5pm and Sunday, April 10th from 11am-4pm.

They've already been taking bikes for consignment since April 1st, so if you have a bicycle you want to sell, bring it on in.  The owner has to be present at drop-off.

According to Philbrick's Ski, Board, and Bike Facebook Page, no department store bikes are allowed, and bikes must be in working order. If your bike sells, you can take 100% on a gift card or 75% in a check. Check payments must be picked up by Saturday, April 16th or it will become store credit. Bikes also must be picked up by Saturday, April 16th or they will become store property.

If you have any questions, here's their website. You can also give them a call at (603) 742-9333, or check out the Facebook events page here.
