So many fun things to do this Summer, your problem will be which one to choose!

Destination:  Salem, Massachusetts

Many people descend upon Salem, Massachusetts in the month of October so they can experience the town where the Salem Witch Trials happened.  If you've never been to Salem around Halloween, when I tell you it's nuts, believe me.  It is nuts.  Even though Halloween isn't until the 31st of October, the "celebration" starts the first of the month.  You might consider going to Salem during the Summer and here's just one great reason why.

Take a Ride on a Tiki Hut Boat

Because Salem is so infamous for the Witch trials, people sometimes forget that it's a beautiful city on the water.  Tiki Hut Boats run out of Salem and offer 90-minute tours around Salem Harbor.  There is a full bar onboard and even have a bathroom on board!  From the website, the owners, Captain Scott and Karen say that this is the first Tiki Hut Boat on the North Shore.

Salem Massachusetts is So Much More Than Witches

There are many beaches and parks for you to explore and even park your RV for a family vacation like Winter Island Park.  Salem Willows is one of my favorite places to visit during the Summer.  It's beautiful with lots of beaches, including Dead Horse Beach.  Yes, Dead Horse beach is exactly what you think it is.  In the 1850's, it was where the local residents would bury their .... dead horses.

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Stacker used data from the 2020 County Health Rankings to rank every state's average life expectancy from lowest to highest. The 2020 County Health Rankings values were calculated using mortality counts from the 2016-2018 National Center for Health Statistics. The U.S. Census 2019 American Community Survey and America's Health Rankings Senior Report 2019 data were also used to provide demographics on the senior population of each state and the state's rank on senior health care, respectively.
