Hooksett's New Bagel Café Sold Out Every Day Its First Week

As a foodie, bagels have always been one of my favorite breakfast bites. Give me a warm, toasted bagel with a generous schmear of cream cheese, and I'm one happy girl!

Anytime I hear of a new bagel shop, I'm all ears!

This past week, Neighbors Counter Cafe officially opened in Hooksett, New Hampshire!

One local customer shared glowing feedback on social media after visiting, writing, "The bagels are crispy on the outside and super soft," while adding that the cream cheese tasted homemade. They also joked, "This is what I mean when I say I want cream cheese!! I didn't even say extra!" The reviewer praised the café's friendly staff, clean atmosphere, and even said they could smell the fresh bagels from the parking lot before walking inside.

From that review alone, I'm already grabbing my purse and hitting the road.

According to Neighbors Counter Cafe, their bagels are made in small batches, hand-rolled, given a long fermentation, and baked fresh every day. Judging by the response from customers, that extra care is paying off.

In a recent social media post, the café thanked the community for its overwhelming support after selling out during each of its first four days in business. The team even closed for a day to regroup and prepare even more bagels for the week ahead, writing, "Thank you for your patience, your support, and for making our first week one we'll never forget."

When I don't even have to ask for extra cream cheese because they already know the assignment, I know that first bite is going to be worth the drive.
