Options. We love to have options, and with the addition of three new airlines for service out of Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in Manchester, New Hampshire, New Englanders have more options than ever.

While Spirit Airlines has temporarily suspended its service in Manchester, other airlines have added service, with some exciting new options for passengers.

The three airlines adding flights include Avelo Airlines, Breeze Airways, and Sun Country Airlines.

Avelo Air started flying out of Manchester last year, with flights to North Carolina and South Carolina, and hopefully more destinations coming.

Breeze Airways will begin nonstop service in June out of Manchester, including flying direct to Charleston, Fort Meyers, Orlando, and Tampa.

Sun Country Airlines begins service in August, according to wmur.com.

There are now seven airlines serving the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, which is more than most airports this size.  This is thanks to New Englanders who prefer regional airports, instead of driving into Boston's Logan International Airport.

The parking is cheaper, there are less hassles, fewer crowds, and generally a better airport experience.  This is true for most regional airports, like the Portland International Jetport in Maine and Bradley International Airport in Connecticut.

Sure, there are fewer options for flights. But if you find the right flight at the right price, it's worth it to avoid the stress of the city traffic and high-priced parking.

Look for more updates at each individual website, or check Manchester-Boston Regional Airport's flights at flymanchester.com.  Updates are listed, as well as job opportunities.
