New Hampshire Ice Cream Trail Celebrates 69 Sweet Stops Across the State
Some of my favorite childhood memories begin with ice cream.
When I was four years old, my parents would bring me to Kellerhaus in Laconia, where we'd sit down to giant icecream sundaes that would become our Friday night dinner. Looking back, I don't remember exactly what flavors I ordered, but I remember how special those nights felt.
Now that I'm a parent myself, I find so much joy in carrying on that tradition with my daughter. There is something magical about a summer evening in New Hampshire, piling into the car and heading out for ice cream together.
That's why I love the idea behind New Hampshire's 2026 Ice Cream Trail.
The statewide trail features 69 ice cream shops, farms, and creameries across New Hampshire, encouraging residents and visitors alike to discover new local favorites while exploring every corner of the Granite State.
Participants can collect stamps along the way and even earn prizes for completing the trail.
What I love most about this concept is the memories waiting to be made.
The Ice Cream Trail gives families a reason to take the scenic route, visit towns they've never explored, and support local businesses that make New Hampshire special. It turns a simple ice cream run into a summer adventure.
For my family, it won't be about checking off all 69 stops. It'll be about finding a few new favorites together and making memories that I hope my daughter will carry with her for years to come.
Just like I still carry those memories of Kellerhaus.
Because long after the ice cream is gone, it's the moments shared around it that stay with us.
If you're looking for a fun family tradition this summer, consider following New Hampshire's Ice Cream Trail. You might discover your next favorite ice cream stand and create a few lifelong memories along the way.
Here are the 69 sweet stops that make up the 2026 New Hampshire Ice Cream Trail. Happy scooping!
