4 Winning Powerball Tickets Were Sold in New Hampshire

People here in New England have always has Lottery fever, but in New Hampshire, it is getting to a fever pitch with all this winning!

To win $2 million dollars in the lottery, you have to match all five numbers, but not the Powerball.  At that point, you would win $1 million, but if you played the power play, it doubles your winnings, so the prize is $2 million.

According to the NH Lottery's Facebook page, Saturday night's Powerball numbers won $2 million dollars for one lucky player sold from Patriot's Corner Grocery on Ocean Boulevard on Hampton Beach, NH

From last night's drawing, Monday, September 1, 2025, there were three $50,000 winners!  One from Three Shining Stars in Strafford, Shaw's in Milford and Klemm's Mobile in Windham.

The New Hampshire Lottery issued a press release ahead of tomorrow night's drawing from Charlie McIntyre, the Executive Director that said:

May the luck continue with a New Hampshire player winning tomorrow’s billion dollar plus jackpot.  Last week we sold $3.5 million in Powerball tickets, and for our Labor Day drawing alone, another $1.8 million!  I’d love to hand out that big check to a proud Granite Stater! Come on New Hampshire!
