New Hampshire Restaurant Featured on ‘Restaurant: Impossible’ Has Sadly Closed For Good
Restaurant Impossible is right up there as one of my favorite Food Network shows. If you aren't familiar with the concept, the hilarious and unfiltered Chef Robert Irvine tries to turn around restaurants across America that are in rough shape. These restaurants are headed towards an impending doom if things don't improve quickly.
Chef Irvine and his squad have a $10,000 budget and two days to work and switch these places around.
Irvine is creative, resourceful, and has an awesome British accent, which makes everything he says sound like gold.
On day one, he usually sits and judges how the staff operates during a normal business day. He then jazzes up the interior and updates the menu for the grand reopening the very next day.
Irvine goes out into the community to get a crowd in the building to check out the improvements on the second day of the project. It's a wild ride and an all-around entertaining show!
In 2022, a New Hampshire restaurant was featured on Restaurant Impossible: White Mountain Steakhouse in Lincoln, New Hampshire!
In the end, the renovation didn't change the inevitable outcome of this sweet tavern nestled in the White Mountains.
Back in March the owners David and Melissa took to Facebook to announce that after four years in business, the restaurant would be closing it's doors for good.
Even though I have never met these people and never got a chance to dine at this establishment, this post almost made me shed a tear.
You could feel their heartfelt sincerity and appreciation for their employees, musicians and loyal clientele.
David and Melissa never owned a business before opening the White Mountain Tavern in 2020. Between a global pandemic and funky Winter weather, it's honestly impressive that they held on for as long as they did.
David and Melissa seem like genuine hard working people who want to make the world a better place. I wish them the best of luck in their next endeavor and can't wait to see what's in store for them next.
