New Hampshire Wine Expert Visits Studio Big

Who knew that the United States had surpassed France in terms of wine consumption? That's just one of the things we learned on Wednesday morning when Nicole Brassard Jordan of the New Hampshire Liquor Commission stopped by Studio Big.

"2K" Karen Kiley, Don Briand and myself were more than happy to sample a taste of Italian wine she brought along. This Friday evening, the New Hampshire Liquor and Wine Outlets will present an evening of over 100 fine Italian wines which supports the Granite State United Way.

Nicole talked about the event and offered some other tips about wine you might be interested to learn. Did you know that washing your wine glasses with regular dish detergent leaves residue and perfumes that remain on the glass? Nicole suggests dropping a tablet of denture cleaner into the glass and letting it sit a bit to get it clean and ready to go for the next time.
