New Hotel In Portsmouth’s North End Looks Lush

AC Hotel in Portsmouth is now open for business.  While the rooftop restaurant is not yet complete, it is expected to be completed by the end of January.  The AC Hotel by Marriott is located next to 3S Artspace on Vaughan Street and has been open for 2 weeks according to reporting by fosters.com.

Its features are sweet!  A two-sided fireplace in the ground level AC Lounge, a European style AC Kitchen is open to the public and it has 156 guest rooms and suites.  Fosters.com quotes General Manager of the hotel, Christ Moulton as describing it “we’re in that area where we’ve removed all those unnecessary items that most guests don’t need right now and then really focused on upgrading and upscaling what’s left.”  He goes on to say, “Our tagline is AC Hotels are precisely perfect hotels.”

A Spanish style roof-top restaurant, named the Rooftop at the Envio should be completed at the end of January and the company is working hard on getting the outdoor seating area complete by March which would be just in time for the summer tourism season.  The restaurant will be able to accommodate 200 and will have panoramic views of the seaport.  It sounds like a great wedding venue.  Portsmouth’s North End sure has been developing quickly.  This will be a nice addition and bring jobs to the area. It sounds like a lot of fun.
