You soon will be able to eat down on the farm at Stalk, the farm-themed restaurant set to open by the end of this year.  Taking over space from the old Dos Amigos Burritos, owners John Daniels and Nikki Nocella will create a casual dining experience in Dover like no other, according to Fosters.com.

The news site reports on the new eatery, which will have a unique down-home farm-themed interior.  Lucky for Daniels and Nocella, Stalk will feature a bar top that is made from an old ticket counter from the city’s train station, according to Fosters.

Daniels is a pastry chef and Nocella is passionate about local fish. The menu will feature such items as beef tartine, cream of leek and mushroom soup, pastrami short rib, monkfish cutlet, and crispy skin salmon, according to Fosters.com.

Right now, the pair are working with friends getting the buildout of the interior done with an eclectic collection of farm tools that have been gathered by friends, some old tools even coming off the side of the road, the news site states.
