Dang, I love my chicken wings.  And nothing says Super Bowl time to me like a big order of chicken wings. As I'm writing this I actually now have the taste and when I get the taste for something I need to satisfy it. I guess I'll have to visit the Dover location it's close to where I work.  I was scrolling through Facebook and saw that Wing-Itz is opening a new store in Hampton.  Say What?  The popular chain has locations in Portsmouth, Dover, Newmarket, and now Hampton!  The new Wing-itz is at the former Burger King location on Route 1. If you are still not sure about going out to eat you can order through DoorDash per their website, so you don’t even need to go out for pick up during the game day.

The Wing-itz website says they “hand cut all of our wings fresh daily, making Wing-itz the only original Wing Butchery in New England.”  The hormone-free, antibiotic-free chicken sounds delicious.  They are not just limited to wings; they have chicken tenders that will delight the kids.  There have plenty of choices of sauces you want from El Diablo (hint, that’s really hot) to Wicked Hot, Honey BBQ, Teriyaki, and even a blueberry chipotle BBQ among many others.  What are wings without fries?  Don’t worry, they have you covered with a large selection of fries, munchies, sandwiches, wraps, burgers,s and even salads.  You know there is always one person at the Super Bowl party that wants a salad (usually my vegan daughter).

It’s refreshing to see a restaurant thriving during the pandemic.  They must be pretty daring and bold to open a new location at this time. I have to get out there and try their wings.  I mean its just not the Super Bowl without chicken wings.  The Wing-itz Facebook page confirms they are open for the Super Bowl, but I will probably DoorDash this order.  I like enjoying the game at my own house.  Reminder, I also need to get some beer, chips, and guacamole.
