NH Gives is Back: Support Hundreds of Nonprofits and Causes in the State

NH Gives is New Hampshire’s largest online fundraising event for nonprofits, and it's back, baby! It kicks off today (June 6, 2023), and for 24 hours, you will have an opportunity to support hundreds of nonprofit organizations doing great work in New Hampshire communities. Last year, more than 13,000 generous people gave $3.5 million to 575 nonprofit organizations in just 24 hours. Can we blow that out of the water this year? I think we can!

This year, a record-breaking 613 nonprofit organizations are participating, including the Heartfelt Dreams Foundation which WOKQ partners with every year for their charity golf classic.

What exactly is NH Gives? 

I'm so glad you asked! NHGives.org is an easy-to-use, secure platform where people can learn about the impact of nonprofits in the Granite State and donate directly. Participating nonprofits are fighting for a plethora of causes, whether its to feed people who are hungry in our state, mentor underserved children, protect the environment, spur civic engagement, or enrich our communities through the arts. For 24 hours between 5 p.m. on June 6 and 5 p.m. on June 7, donations are tallied as participating nonprofit organizations compete for additional cash prizes, with leaderboards displaying progress. People can choose from more than 600 nonprofits to support, and take advantage of more than $850,000 in matching funds to increase the impact of their contributions.

“NH Gives makes it easy and fun for people to donate to causes they care about, as well as discover organizations that might be new to them.”

The event has raised more than $12 million for 1,000 New Hampshire nonprofits since it was created in 2016.
