Now that it’s officially fall, it’s time to say hello to spooky season and The Goat has a surprise for all of its Halloween-obsessed fans.

If you’re the kind of person who thinks Halloween should be more than just a costume and a pumpkin on the porch, you definitely want to make your way to any of their four locations!

The Goat has transformed into “Nightmare at The Goat,” an immersive Halloween pop-up that turns the restaurant into a spooky experience from floor to ceiling.

According to The Goat, the Halloween takeover features over-the-top decorations, creepy photo opportunities, specialty cocktails served in hauntingly scary mugs and plenty of surprises lurking around every corner.

And while The Goat may look very different for spooky season, the restaurant has been part of the local scene for years.

The original Goat opened at Hampton Beach in 2014, created by local restaurateur Al Fleury as a country-themed whiskey bar. Just a few years later, The Goat expanded to Portsmouth, opening on Congress Street in 2017. Since then, the brand has continued to grow, with locations now in Hampton, Portsmouth, Manchester and Newburyport.

And this year, you don’t have to make the trip to Portsmouth to get in on the Halloween fun. For the first time, Nightmare at The Goat is taking over all four locations.

The Goat’s signature burgers, whiskey selection, brunch and live music are getting a serious spooky-season makeover, making this a pretty fun excuse to grab your friends and embrace Halloween.
