La Festa on Central Ave in Dover is one of the prime pizza spots on the Seacoast. When I first started at WOKQ I had teeny apartment right across the street!

The best part about it was on warm nights I would open my window and let the delicious smell of garlic knots lull me into a sweet slumber. And the cinnamon knots?! Don't even get me started. They're so good they shouldn't be legal.

I was sad to hear in the Facebook group Dover (NH) Takeout Restaurants-surviving COVID-19, that around April 6th La Festa was forced to close.

The group said the reason was because they ran out inventory but I don't know that for a fact. I was so sad to hear this because people really need La Festa's buffalo chicken pizza to perk their spirits during this pandemic, and by people I am referring to myself.

Thank goodness they appear to be back open and ready for business as of Wednesday, April 29th. We can't stress how important it is to eat local during this time. And if you think about it, it's a win win!

These restaurants have been immersed in our communities for so long so they know what the people want and love. And obviously they need our business now more than ever.
