Parmalee and Blanco Brown released a SMASH called "Just the Way" and we can't get enough enough of it on WOKQ and 1037 the Peak. I love the music video for it too, it gives me the warm and fuzzies.

The members are made of two brothers Matt and Scott, their cousin and Barry and their best friend from childhood Josh. They are just a couple of pals from Parmele, North Carolina, (which has a population of under 300 people! The band is half the town!)

Get ready to get up close and personal with the boys of Parmalee because WOKQ is so excited to present Parmalee at Bernie's Beach Bar in Hampton on June 24th!

That's right! On the same stage that we saw Lee Brice, Aaron Lewis, and Granger Smith, now Parmalee is coming to the beach! Bernie's is an incredible place to watch a show ESPECIALLY in the Summer. Picture this: you are outside sipping your favorite cocktail watching live music a few feet away from you while the waves crash in the background. You really can't beat it!

Grab your tickets on the Bernie's Beach Bar website when they go on sale Friday and 10 am!  And a little birdie told me that we might be giving away some tickets on Chio and Kira in the Morning so AS ALWAYS keep us on every morning from 5:30-10. We are proud to be your country concert connection and are pumped to send you to awesome shows like this one all Summer long!

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.
