Patriots Player Indicted On Cocaine Charge In New Hampshire
A source says authorities showed up to New England Patriots Safety Patrick Chung's house in Meredith, New Hampshire, where they allegedly found cocaine.
The New England Patriots are entrenched in preseason football, but an incident which allegedly took place around June 25th has surfaced, causing a potential black eye for the franchise. According to Pats Pulpit, safety Patrick Chung has been indicted on a charge of cocaine possession in New Hampshire. The indictment, as confirmed by the Belknap County attorney’s office was reportedly presented earlier this month. While not a good look, an indictment is not a admission of guilt.
According to Jim Murray's Twitter account, a source states the series of events kicked off when an alarm was tripped for breaking and entering. Police arrived on the scene to investigate. During this time, they allegedly found cocaine inside the residence.
The New England Patriots have released a statement on the matter, basically taking a hands off approach while the case moves forward.
