If dogs are our best friends, then when a whole lot of dogs are in one big park together, it's an opportunity for dogs and owners to make new friends, too.

Here's your chance to have some fun with your favorite furry friend and owners like you.

It's the 1st Annual "Paws in the Park" Dog Festival at Davis Field next to the Tuftonboro Central School on Saturday, June 25, from 10am -3pm.

Dogs aren't the only thing exciting about the Paws in the Park Dog Festival.

According to Paws In The Park Facebook page, there will be pet vendors, a demonstration, a parade of dogs, and raffles.  If that's not enough to keep the whole family entertained, you'll also find food trucks, and music by Jay of Time is Money Production DJ Services.

The dog festival is hosted by The Buddies LLC, Tuftonboro Parks and Recreation, and Live & Let Live Farm.

Part of the proceeds will go to Live & Let Live Farm Rescue and Sanctuary in Chichester, NH. This charity is a non-profit volunteer-based rescue farm that rescues abused, abandoned, and neglected animals.  They also offer adoptions.

Admission is only $5 for adults. Children 12 and under are free.  All dogs are welcome, but they do need to be on a leash.

The address is Tuftonboro Central School, 205 Middle Road, Tuftonboro, NH, 03816.

Rain date is Sunday, June 26.

Bring your kids, dogs, and friends out for Paws in the Park for a great cause, and a wonderful day outdoors with the family.  See ya there.
