People Need To Stop Feeding These Massachusetts Seals PB&J Sandwiches
According to Boston.com, The people of Wareham, Massachusetts can't seem to leave the seals alone so the town's Department of Natural Resources took to Facebook to remind them.
If you see a seal washed up on shore no matter how precious it may be, it is important to keep your distance. You might feel the urge to help the seal back to the water or wrap the sweet pup in a blanket but...well... don't.
Seals tend to eat sand when they are stressed out and it isn't good for them. And neither are peanut butter and jelly sandwiches which apparently people have left the seals to feast on! The officials joked that the seals are watching their weight so please don't leave the sandwiches to tempt them.
