These are dark times we are living in. New Hampshire restaurants and bars closed seating areas and are offering take-out only. Enter Governor Sununu giving the people what they want! He issued an emergency order that will allow restaurants to offer beer and wine with take-out orders. Governor Sununu recognizes the sacrifices we have made due to COVID-19 and social distancing. This authorization is only temporary.

According to Fosters, Jeff Goss, owner of Clipper Tavern in Portsmouth thinks this is a decent option and will benefit people who want one stop shopping. This can add value and potentially help restaurants during these difficult times. Now folks can order a lobster roll with a bottle of Chardonnay to go! I don't hate it.
