Maine Man Recovers from COVID-19, Gets Police Escort Home
A well-deserved police escort was given to a South Berwick man who had recovered from COVID-19, according to WGME.com . He had been hospitalized since March 27.
The news station repots that Pete Jardine was released from Maine Medical Center after battling this virus for weeks. He will continue to work on getting his strength back and will work on physical therapy while quarantining at home.
This is some great news. I love to hear of people who are recovering from this illness. The news gives us all some hope during this dark time.
The South Berwick Police Department gave him a police escort home for the hospital and a parade of well-wishers supported him on his ride home from their cars, according to WGME.
