As the song goes, You're a mean one Mr. Grinch! (in his defense, If there was a song dedicated to calling me names, I might not be the nicest person either)

Mr. Grinch was on a mission to ruin Christmas for nice people of Dracut, MA. Thankfully the Dracut Police Department caught the criminal and threw him in the slammer where he belongs!

They took to their Facebook page to share the arrest report:

Date: 12-24-21
Name: THE GRINCH
Residence: Mount Crumpet, Whoville

In the early morning hours of Christmas Eve, DPD officers responded to multiple complaints from our residents of a green figure seen walking in their backyards. Upon further investigation, our officers located the suspect who was later identified as THE GRINCH. Officers attempted to apprehend THE GRINCH who took off running once he saw the officers. Following a lengthy foot pursuit, THE GRINCH was located trying to hide in a chimney. THE GRINCH was pulled out of the chimney, handcuffed, placed in a cruiser, and transported to the Dracut Police Department for booking.

Upon searching THE GRINCH at the station, officers located coal in his pockets.. THE GRINCH has been held without bail.

Residents of Dracut are forever thankful for their police department for singlehandedly saving Christmas!
