Children’s Day in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, is quickly approaching and will be a family-friendly celebration packed with creativity, music, and hands-on fun for kids of all ages.

Portsmouth is not just for the traveling tourist; it's home to many residents who love its active community involvement.

Kicking off at noon on May 3, the heart of the festivities begins at the Pleasant Street Block Party, where families can pick up a Children’s Day map at the Pro Portsmouth Information Booth and enter a free raffle for exciting prizes.

Activities of the day will include live performances by Bryson Lang and a juggler extraordinaire, followed by many others. But beyond the stage, Pleasant Street will be filled with activity stations hosted by local organizations and community groups.

Children will be able to express themselves artistically by making pinwheels or crafting crowns.
