It's moving day for a family of falcons on the border of New Hampshire and Maine, and it may effect your travel plans.

Is it me, or is Facebook extra full of ducks/turkeys/etc crossing the street vids lately? Today, (Thursday) traffic along the Piscataqua River Bridge may be slowed due to the movement of a family of endangered peregrine falcons. According to News Center Maine, wildlife and transportation officials will be moving a nesting platform. A southbound lane on the Piscataqua River Bridge will be closed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. while they create a new nesting box or "bird condo" for the falcons.

Why are the moving their home? Later this year, a paving project would greatly disrupt them, and officials felt doing it now would be the smoothest path for the creatures.

Peregrine falcons are impressive, as they are fastest bird in the world, and have the ability to dive at speeds up to 200 mph, according to News Center Maine.

The Patriots fan in me wanted them to wait until 3:28 though. #nevergetsold
