Record-Setting Teddy Bear Toss is a Heartwarming Sight [VIDEO]

The Teddy Bear toss is wonderful promotion that many sports teams, particularly hockey teams, have featured.  

Fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed animal to the game and the toys are distributed to families in need. I've never seen it work out as well as this.

The Calgary Hitmen of the WHL hosted the 21st Annual Petro-Canada Teddy Bear Toss and the fans were ready to respond after the first goal of the game.

In all, a record 28,815 stuffed teddy bears found their way to the ice and eventually to a loving kid's arms.
