The Granite State is setup for the warmest stretch of weather this year, just in time for the Fourth of July.

How many days this summer have you spent hoping for BBQ sweats? You know the kind. A cousin to the meat sweats, this is a combo of sitting around the picnic table, shooing off flies, and sweating just a little as you nosh the second burger. Truth be told, it's been a relatively cool summer thus far.

But that's about to change.

Teased last week, the holiday warm up is becoming a reality.

According to NECN, Monday brings a little heat, but a break in humidity felt over the weekend. On Tuesday, the sticky stuff builds back in with a downpour possible in the afternoon. Both Wednesday and Thursday bring increasing temperatures and a further humidity build.

Expect highs well into the 80s, and a touch of 90 for a few inland communities. The humidity will not let up into next weekend either.

Sticky summer is here.
