There’s A Quaint New Wine Bar Opening in Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Word on the street is getting louder, and if the whispers turn out to be true, downtown Portsmouth will soon have a brand-new spot for wine lovers to gather! Hooray!

Ever since visiting Napa Valley, California, I've been hooked on exploring the world of wine. I love trying different varieties and discovering the unique flavors and aromas each one brings to the table. That said, if there's a Cabernet Sauvignon on the menu, there's a pretty good chance that's what I'm ordering!
While there hasn't been an official grand announcement, Small Talk Wine's website now points to a Portsmouth location at 238 State Street (the old Savarios location).
One local even posted to social media a photo of the front of the establishment getting painted.
All signs (no pun intended) seem to point toward an opening that's getting closer...
And if you're looking for a job, the company is actively hiring! Small Talk Wine Co. says they're hiring bartenders, servers, sommeliers, and hosts who are passionate about hospitality and, in their words, "love to yap about wine."
The location implies that a quick glass of wine has a way of turning into an unforgettable night with friends. And as a mom to a toddler, I could use one of those (or maybe a couple...).
Of course, until an official opening date is announced, consider this one filed under "developing." But between the Portsmouth address, hiring notices, and sign-up page for opening updates, it certainly looks like something exciting could be uncorking in the city soon.

I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for this one and if the rumors become reality, Portsmouth's wine scene may be getting a very exciting new addition.
