St. Patrick's Day Events Happening in New Hampshire in 2022

Well, it seems like we've finally made it. At last we're at the home stretch of winter, and can look forward to the coming of spring with fresh excitement and anticipation.

Temperatures are already climbing back in the 40's on a more regular basis (remember when you would've considered that cold?), the first official day of spring is just over a week away, and the clocks are also changing in a couple days. Yes, that does mean we'll lose an hour of sleep, but we'll also have more sunlight and vitamin D to put a 'spring' in our step (haha, get it?).

Also coming up soon is St. Patrick's Day, and New Hampshire sure does love to celebrate.

According to the US Census, back in 2016, New Hampshire and Massachusetts were the only states in the country where over 20% of the population had Irish ancestry. So naturally, this is a very festive time of year for us here in New England.

Regardless of whether the percentage of local Irish folk has changed in recent years, you don't have to be Irish to have a sham-rockin' good time during the St. Patty's Day season. Whether you want to indulge in some good grub, run in a race, or watch a performance, there's no shortage of ways to get your green on.
