Taylor Swift is performing all this weekend at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. And she clearly loves cops, and their families.

According to WMTW-TV, T-Swift donated a "significant number of tickets" to the town of Weymouth for this weekend's shows. Mayor Robert Hedlund told The Patriot Ledger that the tickets were distributed among the town's police officers.

WMTW  reports the mayor said there were enough tickets to send "every police officer, firefighter and extended family to the concert, and then some." The extras were given to other nearby police departments.

As you'll recall, Weymouth Sgt. Michael Chesna was shot and killed while investigating a car crash on July 15.

The Patriot Ledger says, Tree Paine, Swift’s publicist, did not respond to a request for comment on the donation. Word is from the report that she wants to keep it low key.

Taylor Swift performed last night at at Gillette. She has shows scheduled tonight and tomorrow as part of her Reputation Stadium Tour.
