Dover's Wesley Dinnan had the fastest time at this year's Boston Marathon for a local runner, according to Seacoastonline.

The 31-year-old runner finished the race in 2 hours, 35 minutes, the news source reported, putting him among the top 200 finishers in a race that had over 27,000 runners. That's pretty impressive.

Dinnan is very popular on the local racing scene, so it's no surprise to see him do well in the Boston Marathon.

Seacoastonline reported that three other local runners broke the three-hour mark: Mathew Daly of Eliot, Maine, at 2:46.23; James Soldner of Portsmouth at 2:55.17; and John Corona from Portsmouth at 2:56.10.

Honestly, congratulations should go out to everyone who participated.

Oh, and three-time Super Bowl champion Tedy Bruschi finished the race at 4:35:35, according to seacoastonline. That's pretty amazing especially considering that Bruschi suffered a stroke not too long ago.

Have you ever run in the Boston Marathon? Would you want to? There's always next year!
