Baseball is back! The Boston Red Sox start the season on the road in Tampa Bay. But once they get back to Fenway Park on April 5 for their first series at home, get ready for more than just new faces on the field.

There are new items on the menu at Fenway concession stands. How does crème brûlée French toast sound? says it's thick-sliced Texas toast stuffed with house-made pastry cream, drizzled with chocolate ganache, and topped with Vermont maple syrup, strawberry sauce from Fenway Park’s own rooftop farm, and powdered sugar. It's priced at $15.

As much as I'd love to order two of them and stuff my face in between at bats, word is it won’t be available to all fans...and not all vendors will serve it at a typical evening game. goes on to say the French toast will be sold at the Royal Rooters Club. That's the private club for season-ticket holders. The Red Sox plan to debut the French toast at Patriots Day game on April 16. Then it should be available for most day games.

While we might not be able to chow down on crème brûlée French toast on a regualr basis, the Red Sox are giving us all an opportunity to channel our inner Napoleon Dynamite with Fenway Taters. C'mon...who doesn't love tater tots? And these aren't just any old tots. Fenway Taters, are topped with bacon bits, sour cream, and chives.

Then there's my favorite new menu item at Fenway Park this season. Say hello to the pulled chicken taco trio. Three flour tortilla tacos stuffed with braised organic chicken, fresh pico de gallo, pickled slaw, and chipotle sour cream.

Now before you get worried all your old Fenway favorites are being tossed aside faster than John Farrell after a 93 win'll still be able to find your Fenway Frank, Italian Sausage, Pizza, Fried Dough, and ice cream in a mini-helmet throughout the ball park.

Bon appetit...and GO SOX!
