Oh sure, Pennywise from It is scary-- but you expected him to be scary because he's a character in a horror movie. When a clown appears seemingly out of nowhere to terrorize an anthropomorphic toaster, you're creating a whole new genre of fear.

Disney's Brave Little Toaster appeared to be a benign straight to video Disney feature from 1987. Saturday Night Live cast members Jon Lovitz and Phil Hartman voiced a few characters in a movie that IMDB.com summarizes as such:

A toaster, a blanket, a lamp, a radio, and a vacuum cleaner journey to the city to find their master after being abandoned in their cabin in the woods.

Hmm, come to think of it-- that does seem like a drug induced nightmare. Be that as it may, I'm sure a number of parents needed to console distressed children immediately following the scene below. What in the heck!?

Now you know. The scariest clown in film history comes quite unexpectedly from a firefighter turned clown that induces a talking toaster to electrocute himself in a bathtub. Thank you, Disney, for introducing coulrophobia to kids everywhere!
