That's according to a new report recently released by Travel Pulse, a website dedicated to travel. The travel experts put together an article with every state's top destination for family tourism. Maine's representative is none other than Bar Harbor. The Hancock County town is one of Maine's most popular spots for tourists and locals alike.

Located on Mount Desert Island, Bar Harbor glistens with impeccable views, exquisite dining, a wealth of accommodation options, plenty of shopping, and access to the iconic Acadia National Park. In fact, Bar Harbor is where the majority of Acadia can be found, including hot spots like Cadillac Mountain, Sand Beach, Thunder Hole, and the Visitor Center.

Bar Harbor's family-friendly options seem endless. Numerous mini golf courses can be found around the area, as well as small family fun parks. Plus, for the truly adventurous family, airplane sightseeing tours are available.
