Every year someone falls prey to the threat from the sky.

New England beaches are some of the most beautiful and pristine in the world.  Sure, the ocean is full of things that could kill you, but you are safe on the beach or in a boat, right? As long as you stay on the sand nothing can attack you.

According to cnn.com,  you should beware of the danger on New England beaches. One moment you are enjoying your lobster roll the next minute danger hits from above. I’m talking seagulls of course.

One woman found out that lesson the hard way.

When Alicia Jessop, an experienced world traveler, recently visited our fine beaches she had two goals: see a lighthouse and eat a lobster roll.

Well, the lobster roll was viciously snatched from her hand by a flying predator of snacks.  The Seagull!

She caught it all on camera, too, and posted it to Instagram.

And Alicia did get to grab another lobster roll at Fox’s Lobster House, so her trip was not a total failure.

I think we can all relate.

BTW this exact same thing happened to me at North Hampton Beach the other day, except the seagull didn't win.

But I was pretty embarrassed because everyone was looking at me. I ended up eating my lobster roll inside my car.
