Top 10 Paying Jobs in New Hampshire
Top 10 Paying New Hampshire Jobs are in Health care
The New Hampshire Department of Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OEWS) performs a semi-annual survey of all jobs in the granite state along with the Federal Bureau of Labor Statistics.
I wrote recently about the shortage of nurses in our state and all over the country.
It seems health care is the field to enter if you want to make top dollar and have your choice of where to work.
The Top Ten
The top ten, according to OEWS, are
- Surgeons
- Anesthesiologists
- Obstetricians and Gynecologists
- Pediatricians
- Family Medical Practitioners
- General Internal Medicine Physicians
- Physicians of all other types
- Dentists
- Nurse Anesthetists
That is a lot of school to enter any of those professions.
The top 10 jobs that people work, according to OEWS, include cashiers, registered nurses, people who work fast food, and secretaries.
Usually, waiters and waitresses are up in the top 10, but the survey was believed to be affected by the pandemic.
