Heads up for those of us that travel the Spaulding Turnpike. Come Thursday, there will be a ramp closure in Dover.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) says on Thursday, December 15, 2016 the existing Exit 6N northbound off-ramp on the Spaulding Turnpike will be closed to allow for the construction of new bridge and highway components at the existing ramp location.

If you would normally use Exit 6N, you will be directed 1,500 ft. north to the newly constructed Exit 6 (formerly Exit 6W).  The new Exit 6 northbound off-ramp will now be a two lane exit that will serve motorists travelling west toward Durham, and east toward Dover.

New signage and message boards will be installed to help direct motorists to their destinations.
