Trailer Carrying Fireball Whiskey Crashes, Spills All Over 495 in Massachusetts
Commuters in Massachusetts were met with an interesting obstacle during their morning travels.
Named checked in songs from artist ranging from Florida Georgia Line to Pitbull, and now the best selling liquor in Maine, Fireball Cinnamon flavored whiskey has been on a roll, publicity-wise. Thursday morning, it was on a different type of roll, as in all over Interstate 495 in Westborough.
The accident caused minor injuries and temporary lane closures, according to Boston News 25. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation tweeted about the crash Thursday, saying all lanes were closed on I-495 southbound after the truck crash, causing cargo to spill out of the truck just before Exit 23A for Route 9.
Also, according to the department, the mess took hours to clean up. Crews dealt with the crash, moving the shipment of Fireball Cinnamon Whisky out of the rolled over truck and into a separate crate. All salvageable contents were transported properly, which I'm sure would be difficult for fans of the popular liquor.
