I used to think we spoke the same language as Australians, but after watching this off-the-rails and hysterically bonkers interview I'm not so sure.

Long story short, this shirtless dude grabbed the keys from a robbers getaway car while his friend recorded the whole thing. That part is amusing in and of itself but the interview on the Aussie version of the Today Show is where the real fun is at. It is an incomprehensible amalgam of all things Australian.

Do know that if you take the time to get the translation (Reddit proved useful on that front)  it is vaguely not safe for work, but apparently not so much that network television Down Under much cares. Here are a few terms via Reddit:

Stubbies = rugby shorts worn a lot by craftsmen; also refers to beers (think the kind that come in a bottle like Red Stripe uses).

Plugger = flip flops

Servo = gas station

Oporto = a fast food restaurant in Australia comparable to KFC

Blow out = Ripping a strap out of a flip flop.

You learned a little something today, mate!
