A few decades ago, if you wanted to be on TV you either had to be a trained actor or actress and score a role in a TV show, or you had to do something remarkable or terrible to be featured on the news. Those were essentially your two paths. In this age of reality tv and documentary film making, average people have the potential to become pretty darn famous. I've heard it called "the Democracy of Stardom" and I love that.

I absolutely love a documentary because we all crave am authentic and real-life narrative and documentaries provide that.

The College Tour is an award winning TV series on Amazon Prime where each episode shares the story of a single college or university through the authentic lens of its current students.

I'm a little jealous that this show didn't exist when I was a senior in high school and deciding what college I wanted to attend! What an amazing resource for college bound students. The most real testament of what it is like attending a school is by hearing from the students themselves and that is exactly what the show "The College Tour" provides.

The students at the University of New Hampshire in Durham now have their time to shine! They will be filing an episode of the series on UNH's campus and are looking for students who have compelling UNH stories to tell.

If you or anyone you know fits this criteria fill out this application by September 15th.
