Universe Rewards Massachusetts Man for Filling His Wife’s Gas Tank
If you are ever in a position to do something small but nice for your partner, let this story be inspiration for you to go ahead and do the nice thing! The universe might just reward you for it.
Christian Kalil from North Andover, Massachusetts, was on his way to his men’s league hockey game and driving his wife's car. He had the awesome idea fill his wife's gas tank for her while he was out. It would be one less thing for her to do it in the morning. So sweet! We love to see it!
He stopped at the Sunoco on Newbury Street in Peabody, Massachusetts. While he was there, he bought a bottle of water and a lottery ticket. He chose the specific ticket because it was in dispenser number five, and his son was born in the month of May. Lo and behold, he won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$1,000,000 Winning 7” instant ticket game.
Christian chose the annuity option on his prize, and received the first of 20 annual payments of $50,000 (before taxes).
He had some pretty exciting new to share with his buddies at hockey!
The Massachusetts State Lottery Facebook posted this photo and described the whole story of him winning like the plot of a holiday movie they'd happily watch:
Not only is Christian one million dollars richer, but he also has a killer beard! Congrats, Christian! You closed out 2022 with a bang!
