Vintage Enthusiasts: Rare Cars Up for Online Auction in Seacoast
If you love beautiful automobiles and automobilia, this auction is definitely for you!
Some rare vintage cars will be up for online auction with Paul McInnis Auction House out of North Hampton, NH.
The collection is called the William P. Walsh Collection and features some gorgeous cars. It was formerly owned by Bill Walsh of Wood Bros. Moving and Storage Company of Portsmouth, according to Seacoast Online. His last wish was for the auction house to sell his collection of vintage automobiles and collectibles.
The online auction is now live and will end on July 28th.
I love old vintage trucks and there are quite a few in this collection including a couple of Dodge pickups from 1934 and 1947 and 1939 Plymouth Pickup. According to the press release from Paul McInnis Auction House, here are some of the other beauties up for sale:
- 1928 Chrysler Imperial Series 80 Locke Body Roadster
- 1934 & 1935 Plymouth Coupes
- 1939 Plymouth Woody Wagon
- 1954 Packard Pacifica
- 1964 Chrysler Imperial convertible
If automobilia is your thing, you'll definitely want to check out this auction as well. The collection includes everything from neon, porcelain and tin signs with brands like Plymouth, Dodge and DeSoto, to a great selection of gasoline pumps, signs,and displays.
I spoke with CAI Justin Conway, Director of Auctions, on what he thought was the "cream of the crop". HIs pick:
" I would say the 1928 Chrysler Imperial Series 80 Locke Body Roadster ."
According to the press release from Paul McInnis Auction House, Bill Walsh spent many years building his collection before he passed earlier this year.
"While operating Wood Bros., Bill attended many auctions conducted by Paul McInnis over the years and chose to have Paul handle a sale on his behalf as he knew it would be conducted with the greatest care."
