Vote for WOKQ’s Hometown Riser Annie Brobst to Become the Next New Country Star
We revealed Annie Brobst to be the winner of the WOKQ Hometown Riser competition back in January, but now it's time to take her to the next level!
Annie is competing with 14 other finalists to win the title of Taste of Country's Hometown Riser, to get airtime on the nationally-syndicated Taste of Country Nights radio show, and to get a featured interview on Taste of Country. And from there? Well, as stars like Brett Young, Devin Dawson and Kalie Shorr have learned, Taste of Country never forgets about its RISERS.
We need your help to make Annie the winner by voting for her HERE.
Once you find her photo on the Taste of Country Hometown Riser Contest page, click on the "Vote Now" button! You can vote once every day until the competition ends at 11:59PM ET on June 18, 2018.
Annie is New England’s 2017 Female Performer of the Year and New England Country Music’s Local Female Artist of the Year for the second year in a row. She brings a unique mix of Miranda Lambert, Sugarland, Jason Isbell, as well as her own sound to singing and songwriting; with splashes of rock, pop, and americana at times.
She’s opened for over 30 national acts in her career thus far, including Jo Dee Messina, Wynonna Judd, Big & Rich, Darius Rucker, Lonestar, and many more.
Her EP “Ghost” can be found on all online stores and her first full album “My First Rodeo” is out now.
Let's turn our local star into a national one! Good luck, Annie!
