Late September's thunder game will be strong as you wind down this Wednesday.

We haven't reached windshield scraping weather, but most have noticed a big change concerning temps in the Granite State. The first 45 degree morning of the season was a shock, and now we're almost used to it. Today has been a reminder not to get too settled into a fall routine, with humidity pumping back into the region. Strong afternoon thunderstorms are also part of this package.

According to WMUR News 9, a line of thundershowers will be rolling through New Hampshire this evening. Some of the storms could be rather strong, and feature gusty winds and heavy rain. The greatest chance for storms will be from 5 p.m. through 11 p.m, reported by WMUR. There is a cold front moving through the state from northwest to southeast this evening, which is the main reason we're receiving mid August weather.

Don't worry. If it would feel weird to pick apples in 80 degrees, S less humid conditions will take hold for Thursday and the weekend, according to WMUR.
