Portsmouth is home to an epic water park that boasts 26 acres of attractions for all ages. They have children’s rides, water slides of all different thrill levels, a whirlpool, an adventure lazy river, an activity pool, a water playground, and a wave pool.

New Attractions and Park-Wide Transformation at Water Country

Water Country announced a new thrilling water slide for 2023, two all-new light and sound waterslide experiences that offer an exciting full-sensory ride.

As shared on their website, Hyperlight takes two of the most intense water slides at Water Country, Black Whole and Warp Eight, and turns them into dynamic, vibrant, full-sensory experiences with vibrant colors, a multi-color star field, and all-new light and sound experiences.

A recent Facebook post and press release also shared that the park has undergone transformations all around, including all-new entrances, a redesigned Main Gate, a brand-new Water Country sign, updates to their restrooms, refreshed parking booths, new paint on old slides with eye-catching colors, new rides, and more. Phew, I'm out of breath!

The park is celebrating its 40th season with the opening day slated for June 3, so mark your calendar and be one of the first to check out the newly-transformed water park!
