This New England City Rated the #1 Worst Drivers in the U.S. and it’s Not Boston

If you've ever driven in Boston, you know that it is NO picnic. I, most of the time, will try to use public transit when I go down to Beantown because of all the traffic and craziness.

Boston didn't even land in the Top 10 U.S. cities with the worst drivers, but this New England city landed at Number 1.

The survey, according to usnews.com, based their findings on the number of deaths per 100,000 people, fatal crashes involving bad driving and fatalities involving driving under the influence. All this makes me very happy that Boston didn't make the Top 10.

What's up with Callfornia?  Three cities in California were named in the top 10; Rialto, Jurupa Valley and Hisperia.

Waterbury, Connecticut took the #1 spot for the Worst Drivers in the U.S.

I never would have guessed this. Waterbury, Connecticut is about the size of Manchester, New Hampshire.  According to usnews.com, the city has about 16.5 traffic deaths per 100,000 people.  Fatal crashes with bad drivers and under the influence is 9.5 per the same number of people.

Waterbury, Connecticut is also home to Holy Land USA, which is a pictoral story of the life of Jesus Christ.  I seem to recall seeing a huge cross from the highway in Waterbury.

Were Boston's Roads and Highways Really Were the Cow Paths Used to Be?

Forever, I believed that the roads in Boston had been paved over the cow paths that were already in place, however, it may not be true according to Boston Magazine. Some say that it's because buildings kept going up and up and up, so, the traffic and roadways had to be changed to accommodate.
