A meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Gray, Maine, says this weekend will be "very summerlike" in Dover.

"It's going to be a warm weekend. We have a chance of showers there on Saturday, but it doesn't look like it will be widespread," Michael Ekster said.

The case is the same for Sunday, Ekster said.

On both days, temperatures are expected to be in the low to middle 80s.

For people who plan to travel to Dover for some outdoor dining or shopping, there is a new sign program to help visitors navigate their way around the Garrison City.

Over 80 signs were installed at the beginning of this month and as people get closer to downtown, the signs become more descriptive.

The total project cost about $425,000, according to Christopher Parker, who is Dover's assistant city manager and director of planning and strategic initiatives.
