For many years, Dover residents have wondered why this space is empty, when a new business will take over, and what might said business be.

We're talking, of course, about this spot right next to the Hannaford's on Central Ave. It's sat empty for as long as this writer can remember.

At one point in time, this area was steps away from The Giant Store, a one-stop shop that hosted regular flea markets where Shaw's currently stands today. But as for this place, this writer doesn't know how long it's been empty for, or what its history is.

We may not know why this space has remained vacant for so long, but we do know that it's fun to do some daydreaming. So with that in mind, we asked you what business(es) you'd like to see set up shop there.

Central Ave is a busy street already, with countless stores bringing lots of traffic to the area. From places like Shaw's to Hannaford's, Dunkin', Chipotle, Panera Bread, Aroma Joe's, McDonald's, and Starbuck's, there's plenty of reasons for locals to visit this part of town. So, the chances of a business thriving in this location seem pretty high.
